Pepper Steak


A Scottish Recipe
From the Kitchen of:  50+ Member

Coat sirloin or fillet steak with french mustard and add steak pepper to taste. Fry large onion until browned, add steaks and cook 5-8 minutes each side. Add chopped peppers (red and green) and mushrooms (button or sliced). Add glass of red wine and splash of whisky/Drambuie/any liqueur. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Remove steaks and add cream to liquor to pan. Pour over steaks.
