Meatball Stew

1 1/2 | lb. | Hamburger |
7 | Soda Crackers, crushed | |
1 | Egg | |
1/4 | c. | Milk |
1/2 | c. | med Onion, chopped |
1/4 | tsp. | Chili Powder |
1/4 | tsp. | Onion Salt |
1/4 | tsp. | Garlic Powder |
1/4 | tsp. | Seasoning Salt |
Pepper to taste | ||
Stew Ingredients | ||
3 | Potatoes, cubed | |
1 1/2 | c. | Carrots |
2 | c. | Water |
1 | can | Tomato Sauce |
2 | Tbsp | Meatball drippings |
1 | c. | Cabbage, shredded |
3 | Onions, sliced and ringed | |
1 | Tbsp. | Brown Sugar |
salt and pepper to taste |
Saute Onion in 2 tsp. Butter Mix Onion and all meatball ingredients well. Form into balls and fry. Cook 10 minutes or until done. Add Potatoes, carrots, water, Tomato Sauce, drippings, cabbage, onions, brown sugar, salt and pepper Simmer 15-20 minutes.
