Pound steak using a meat mallet. Place steak in a large shallow dish. Combine soya sauce and remaining ingredients in a small bowl, stirring well. Pour mixture over steak; cover and allow to marinade in refrigerator for 1 hour.
Remove meat from marinade and place on lightly greased rack of a broiler pan. Broil 4 inches from heat for 4 to 5 minutes; turn steak and broil an additional 4 to 5 minutes.
To serve, slice across the grain into thin slices.
