Italian Beef

HAPPY from Longview WA
When my oldest son, Pete Jr., was at home, this was his favorite.
1 | lb. | Lean Beef |
16oz. | Can | Tomatoes |
3/4 | C. | Water |
1 | small | Onion,chopped |
1 | tsp. | Salt |
1/4 | tsp. | Pepper |
1 1/2 | tsp. | Paprika |
1/2 | tsp. | Garlic Powder |
1/2 | tsp. | Italian Herbs |
Cut meat into 1 inch chunks
Brown in small amount of oil
Add rest of ingredients
Simmer 2 hours covered, then 20 minutes more uncovered
Serve over rice, pasta or mashed potatoes
