chopped onion

ketchup, tomato sauce, or chili sauce
1-1/2

cranberries
1/2
C
packed brown sugar

vinegar

dry mustard
Bake the bacon on a rack at 375F for 45 minutes, or until tender. Meanwhile, in a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the onion and cook until soft but not brown. Stir in ketchup, cranberries, brown sugar, vinegar, and mustard. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes. Spoon sauce over the bacon and bake 30 minutes longer, basting a few times.
