1 | lge | Potato, cut up |
3/4 | Lb. | Stew Meat, cubed |
1 | sm. | Tomato,cubed |
1/2 | c. | Celery, diced |
2 | lge. | Carrots, cut up |
1 | sm. | Onion, cut up |
1 | tsp. | Salt |
1 | tsp. | Sugar |
2 1/4 | tsp. | Tapioca (instant) |
1 | Garlic clove, minced |
Mix all ingredients and place in an oven casserole. (not necessary to brown meat). Cover. Bake in a 250 degree oven for 5 hours. May be stirred once during baking, but not necessary. To vary flavor, you can add 1/4 c. dry red wine.
