A Swedish Recipe
From the Kitchen of: Lill in Sweden
As we care a lot about health in Sweden we have Salmon very often and this is a good one.. easy to make...no cooking or frying, can be done in advance, can be kept in the freezer AND perfect for many occasions...on picnic, served as the first course on a big dinner or as a single course with potatoes, spinache, hardboiled egg halves or just with salad and bread.
1 | lb. | Smoked Salmon(weight without skin and bones) |
5 | hard boiled Yolks | |
8 | oz. | margarine |
3/4 | c. | fine cut dill |
white pepper | ||
black pepper | ||
segments of lemon |
Grind the salmon meat with the yolks. Stir the margarine and mix with the meat-yolk mixture. Put the dill and pepper into it and press some lemon juice (after your own taste) over it and stir for 5 minutes. Dress a form with cling film and put the mixture into it. press it together and cover with the plastic film and leave in the fridge for 12 hours or in the freezer.
