Sweet and Spicy Marinated Salmon Steaks

1/4 | C | Salt |
1/8 | C | Brown sugar |
1 | tsp | Garlic salt |
1 | tsp | Ground bay leaf |
1/4 | tsp | Ground allspice |
1 | tsp | Ground cloves |
3/4 | tsp | Cayenne pepper |
- Cover 10 salmon steaks with marinate and refrigerate overnight.
- Thinly slice two onions, two limes and two lemons.
- To prepare steaks, place on piece of cooking paper or parchment paper. Dot each steak with about a tablespoon of butter.
- Place one lime slice and one lemon slice on the fish. Divide an onion slice into rings and place on top of fish.
- Fold in half and twist ends to form a half-circle. Put on a baking sheet.
- Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes or until temperature reaches 140° on meat thermometer.
- Serve with rice and vegetables
