Swiss Cheese and Bacon Squares

This is a great brunch dish. Easy to make and delicious.
8 | slices | lean bacon |
1 | 8 oz | crescent rolls |
6 | slices | Swiss cheese |
5 | large | eggs, slightly beaten |
1 | cup | milk |
1 | Tbsp | onion, finely minced |
1 | Tbsp | parsley, finely minced |
- Fry and drain the bacon, crumble and set aside.
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Spray a 9 x 13 baking pan with non-stick cooking spray. Unroll the
crescent rolls and press the dough into the bottom of the pan and a
little way up the sides.
- Place the cheese slices over the dough.
- Beat the eggs lightly and combine with the milk and onion, mix well
and pour over the cheese layer in the pan.
- Sprinkle the crumbled bacon and parsley over the top.
- Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 425 degrees, or until eggs are set to your
taste.
- Cut into 3 inch squares and serve while hot. Serves 4 to 6.
- To serve a crowd, you can bake two at a time in a standard 30" oven.
