Pecan Cheese Crackers

Extra sharp cheddar cheese, grated
2
sticks
Margarine or butter
3
cups
Flour
2
cups
Finely chopped pecans
Cayenne pepper to taste
Cream margarine or butter until well mixed.
Add flour and pepper mixing well.
Add pecans mixing well.
Shape dough into two rolls. Wrap in waxed paper and refrigerate until thoroughly chilled (at least two hours), overnight if time allows.
Slice l/4 inch thick and bake on ungreased cookie sheet 350 degrees 15 to 20 minutes. Do not brown.
Makes 4 to 5 dozen depending on diameter of rolls.
