French Raisin Toast

Eggs, beaten

Milk

Sugar

Vanilla
1/2
tsp
Ground nutmeg
dash
Salt

Raisin bread
Confectioners' sugar or pancake syrup
Preheat griddle on medium to medium-high setting.
In shallow bowl blend eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, nutmeg and salt. Dip each bread slice in egg mixture, turning to coat both sides.
Lightly grease griddle.
Cook bread slices 4 to 6 minutes, or until deep golden brown. Turn after half the time.
Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar or serve with syrup.
