Fried Cornmeal Mush

4 | C | Water |
1 | C | Cornmeal |
1 | tsp | Salt |
1½ | lb | Pork sausage |

| | |
- Combine water, cornmeal and salt and cook for 1 hour.
- Add onion salts, pepper, and small amount of salt to pork sausage. Brown pork sausage slowly until slightly brown.
- Drain off fat. Add sausage to cornmeal.
- Add 1/4 C. flour and cook 15 minutes or more.
- Take off heat - Beat in 1 large slightly beaten egg.
- Put in greased bread tin and cool overnite.
- Slice and dip in flour and fry in bacon grease.
