Active dry yeast

Warm water

Brown sugar

Soda

tbsp
Salad oil
Combine flours and salt.
Soften yeast in warm water; stir in 1 tbsp brown sugar. Stir into dry ingredients. Mix well. Cover; let stand overnight at room temperature (bowl must not be over 1/2 full).
The next morning stir batter; add remaining brown sugar, soda and oil. Mix well.
