This was my recipe, but my Mom takes it to all the dinners at her Senior Citizens complex and everyone loves it - so she decided it was "Thelma's Beans" (her name is Thelma).
1 | lb. | ground beef |
4 | cans | pinto beans |
1 | can | diced Ortega chilis |
1 | can | diced (or sliced) black olives |
1 | jar | pimentos |
1 | jar | green chili salsa (lately I can't find this so substitute any brand chunky garden salsa) |
1 | onion, diced | |
jalapenos to taste (optional) |
Brown the meat and dump everything into Crockery Pot - cook on high for a couple of hours or low for 4 - 6 hours.
