This is a traditional New England dessert.
1 | c. | yellow cornmeal |
1 | c. | dark molasses |
1/4 | c. | sugar |
1/4 | c. | butter |
1/4 | tsp. | salt |
1/4 | tsp. | baking soda |
2 | eggs | |
11/2 | qt. | hot milk |
Mix all ingredients in Crockery Pot. Cook 6 hours on lot. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Serves 6 to 8.
