This is one of those oh-so-easy recipes. Throw it in your Crockery Pot in the morning, and it will be ready to eat when you get home from work.
1 | tbsp. | vegetable oil |
1 1/2 | cups | chopped onion |
1 1/4 | cups | sliced carrots |
2 | cloves | garlic, minced |
3 | cups | chicken broth |
2 | tsp. | white sugar |
1 | pkg. | frozen shoepeg corn (16 oz.) |
1 | can | kidney beans, drained and rinsed (15 oz.) |
1 | can | black beans, drained and rinsed (15 oz.) |
1 | can | Italian-style stewed tomatoes (141/2 oz.) |
1 | can | diced tomatoes, drained (141/2 oz.) |
Combine everything in the Crockery Pot and cook on low 8 to 9 hours.
