Stir buttermilk into preserves. Pour into refrigerator tray; freeze for 2 hours or til firm. Break up frozen mixture and place in chilled mixer bowl. Beat on high speed of electric mixer until fluffy. Return to tray; cover and freeze at least 6 hours.
