Combine flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl; mix in butter and eggs. Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly (batter will be stiff).
Drop tablespoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake in a preheated 350° oven 9-11 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool one minute on cookie sheets, then transfer to wire racks to cool completly.
** Variation: Prepare dough as directed above. Spread evenly into greased and floured 9-inch square pan (use wet hands to smooth). Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool; cut into 36 squares.
