Lemon Italian Cookies
From the Kitchen of: Weezie
The following is a recipe that I have made for the holidays, plus
several times during the year. One of my family's favorites! This
recipe has been enjoyed for over 25 years.
Lemon Italian Cookies |
5 | C | Flour |
1 | C | Sugar |
5 | tsp | Baking powder |
1 | pinch | Salt |
1 | C | Vegetable oil |
1 | C | Milk |
1 | tsp | Lemon juice |
2 | | Eggs |
- Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl, mix.
- In a large bowl combine oil, milk, lemon juice and eggs, mix well.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients and mix well.
Roll into balls.
- Bake at 350 degrees F. for 15 minutes until set, not brown. Do not
overbake.
- Let cool, then frost. Makes 36 cookies.

4 | tbsp | Butter/margarine |
6 | tbsp | Orange juice |
2 | tsp | Lemon juice |
2 1/2 | tsp | Vanilla |
