Beat butter, sugar and vanilla at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add flour and nuts, mix on low speed until well-blended. Chill dough for 2 hours. For each cookie, use about 1 tablespoon of dough to encase one candy piece completely. (Be sure and take the wrapper off). Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° until set but not brown, about 8-10 minutes. Remove and roll cookies in powdered sugar.
