1 | Tsp. | Salt |
1 | Cup | Pecans, chopped |
Mix shortening, sugars and eggs and blend well. Stir in milk and vanilla. Sift together flour, soda and salt; stir into shortening mixture. Fold in pecans. Chill 1 hour. Place 2" apart on a greased cookie sheet using 1 tablespoon dough for each cookie. Bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes. Frost with Burnt Butter Glaze.

2 | Cups | Powdered sugar |
Few drops vanilla flavoring |
Melt butter in a medium skillet over medium-high heat just until it starts to brown. Add all other ingredients and spread on warm cookies.
