BAR MIXTURE
2 | Pkgs. | Pillsbury Crescent Rolls |
2 | 8 oz. | Pkgs. cream cheese, softened |
1 | Cup | Sugar |
1 | Egg | Yolk |
1 | Tsp. | Vanilla |
TOPPING
1 | Egg | White |
1/2 | Cup | Chopped nuts |
1/2 | Cup | Sugar, mixed with cinnamon |
1-3 Tsps. or to your taste |
Place one tube of rolls in ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan. Spread out. Blend cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk and vanilla until creamy. Spread over rolls. Place 2nd tube of rolls on top of first mixture, covering as well as possible. (Dough tends to stretch, but open areas will fill in when it bakes. Beat egg white well (until foamy). Spread over top crust. Sprinkle on nuts, then sugar/cinnamon mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for approixmately 30 mintues. (Until edges begin to brown and center appears firm.) Store in fridge. (Cuts better after refrigeration)
