Cinnamon - Apple Flan

This recipe came from Oleander House Bed & Breakfast Inn. An unusualand tasty main entree that satisfies your "sweet" tooth!
1/2 | Stick | Butter |
1/4 | C | Granulated sugar |
1 | Tsp. | Vanilla extract |
2 | Tsp. | Cinnamon |
2 | | Apples (Green - peel, core & slice) |
4 | | Eggs |
1 | C | Flour, unbleached |
1 1/4 | C | Milk (1% lowfat) |
| | Powdered Sugar |
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in the sugar & cinnamon. Add the sliced apples. Cook until apples are translucent, about 5 minutes.
- While the apples are cooking, put milk, eggs and vanilla in blender - mix thoroughly. Then add flour to mixture and blend.
- Spray pie dish with PAM. Add apples, then pour in batter. Bake for about 15 minutes or until puffy and golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, slice and serve.
