Escalloped Corn

2 | #10 cans | whole kernel corn |
2 | #10 cans | creamed corn |
1/2 | lb. | margarine |
4 1/4 | cups | hot milk |
1/2 | cup | onion |
2 | tsp. | salt |
1/2 | cup | sugar |
2 | tsp. | pepper |
2 | cups | crackers, crushed |
1/2 | lb. | margarine |
1 | cup | cracker crumbs |
- Set oven temperature at 350 degrees.
- Mix corn, milk, margarine, onions, salt, sugar, pepper and crackers.
- Place in greased steamtable pans.
- Mix butter and 1 cup cracker crumbs. Distribute over top of corn mixture.
- Bake 25-30 minutes or until topping is browned.
Yield: 100 1/3 cup servings
