Suzy Q Cake

| 1 | | devils food cake mix |
| 1 | cup | milk |
| 5 | tbsp. | flour |
| 1 | cup | sugar |
| 1/2 | cup | butter |
| 1/2 | cup | Crisco |
| 1/4 | tsp. | salt |
| 1 | tsp. | vanilla |
- Bake devils food cake mix according to directions on package in 9 x 13 pan. Cool 10 minutes. Invert cake from pan. Cool thoroughly. Cut cake in half horizontally.
- To prepare filling, cook flour and milk until thickened. Cool. Beat together sugar, butter, Crisco, salt and vanilla. Add to flour mixture and beat until smooth and creamy. Spread filling on 1 half of cake. Place other half of cake on top and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
