Peanut Butter Cupcakes

| 1/2 | cup | Shortening |
| 1/2 | cup | Peanut butter |
| 1-1/2 | cups | Brown sugar |
| 2 | | Eggs, beaten |
| 1 | tsp. | Vanilla |
| 1-1/2 | cups | Flour |
| 1/2 | tsp | Salt |
| 2 | tsp. | Baking powder |
| 2/3 | cup | Milk |

Sift together the flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Then put the first 5
ingredients into a large bowl and blend well.
- Add flour mixture and milk
alternately and beat well. Pour into greased cupcake tins.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes in a 350º oven.
- Frost with a simple powdered sugar frosting, adding 1 Tsp peanut butter.
- Spread on warm cupcakes.
- Makes 18 cupcakes
