Gina's Comments:You will not be disappointed at all when they make this cake. Its wonderful.

1 pkg. orange cake mix (preferably Duncan Hines)

1 3 oz. pkg. orange flavored jello

1 cup boiling hot water

1/2 cup ice cold water

1 8 oz. container of frozen whipped topping.(thawed)

1 3.5 oz. pkg. vanilla instant pudding

1 cup ice cold whole milk

1 tsp. pure vanilla extract

1 tsp. pure orange extract

• Prepare cake mix according to direction, preheating oven according to directions for a 13" x 9" pan. Can use throw away aluminum ones. Cool the cake real well and then put in refrigerator for a few hours until nice and cold. Take cake out and *poke holes* all over the entire cake with a dinner fork 1" apart.
• Mix the jello with the hot water, stirring well, then add the cold water, stirring real well. Pour it evenly over the entire cake, using all of it. Stick cake back into fridge while you make the icing.
• Combine the whipped topping, instant vanilla pudding mix, cold milk, and both of the extracts. Beat throughly with electric mixer until its as thick as you can get it. Spread icing over the entire cake. Refrigerate until you are going to use.
• Variations: can use cherry, lemon, yellow, any type cake mix flavors, and use same flavor jello as cake mix. uch as: cherry with cherry, strawberry with strawberry, etc. Can also use lemon pudding with orange or lemon cake mix. Chocolate cake mix with chocolate pudding. Just use your imagination. Orange is the best one. Enjoy
