Maple Walnut Butter Frosting

Pecans may be substituted for the Walnuts
| 1/2 | cup | butter, softened |
| 1/4 | cup | walnuts, chopped |
| 3 | cups | confectioners/icing sugar |
| 4 to 6 | tablespoons | pure maple syrup |
Thoroughly cream butter and sugar, adding maple syrup until light and spreadable. Add nuts and frost cake.
