Dutch Apple Cake

This is my Mom's recipe.

Spice Cake Mix
1/2
cup
Butter or Margarine, melted

Eggs

oz. can
Apple Pie Filling
3/4
cup
Light Brown Sugar, firmly packed
1
tsp
Cinnamon
1/2
cup
Butter, Softened
1/2
cup
Chopped Nuts
2
drops
Vanilla
In a large bowl, combine cake mix, melted butter and eggs. Blend well.
Spread in a greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
Spoon pie filling over batter.
In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla.
Cut in softened butter and stir in nuts.
Sprinkle over pie filling.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
