Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake

Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake |
2 | cups | flour |
1 | cup | sugar |
2 | tsp | baking powder |
1 | tsp | salt |
4 | tbsp | cocoa |
1 | cup | mayonnaise |
1 | cup | water |
1 | tsp | vanilla |
- Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix well
- Pour batter into a greased and lightly floured 9x13-inch pan
- Bake at 325 deg. F approximately 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the middle of the cake comes out clean
Icing |
2 | cups | powdered sugar |
2 | tbsp | cocoa |
1 | tbsp | butter or margarine |
| | milk |
- Place first three ingredients in mixing bowl
- Add milk a little at a time, mixing until the icing is of a spreading consistency
- Frost the cake
