Banana Cheesecake

Delicious! I cover the chilled cake with piped-on sweetened
whipped cream and sprinkle with sliced toasted almonds or
shaved chocolate.
1-1/2 | lbs | cream cheese, softened |
3/4 | cup | sugar |
3 | | eggs |
3 | cups | mashed bananas |
2 | tsp | vanilla |
- Prepare a 10-inch springform pan by covering with a
graham cracker crust.
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and sugar and
beat until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Add the remaining ingredients and mix.
- Pour into the crust.
- Bake for 1 hour. Let cool in the oven for 1 hour. Do not
open the oven door until cool.
- Chill before serving.
