2 | Pkgs. | Active dry yeast |
1/4 | Cup | Warm water |
1 | Cup | Milk, lukewarm |
1 | Cup | Soft butter |
2 | Eggs | Beaten |
1/4 | Cup | Sugar |
1 | Tsp. | Salt |
1 | Tsp. | Grated lemon peel |
4 1/2 | Cups | Flour, sifted |
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Combine dissolved yeast and remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Beat until smooth - about 1 minute. Cover with damp cloth. Place in refrigerator 2 hours (or overnight). Shape and let rise. For Cinnamon Rolls bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. For Tea Ring bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
