Commercial baking mix (like bisquick) and a few convenience food products make this unusual, flavorful bread. The caraway seed adds the flavor of rye bread.
3 | Cups | Baking mix (like bisquick) |
1/4 | Cup | Vegetable oil |
1 | Tbsps. | Caraway seeds |
3 | Eggs | |
1 | Can | Condensed cheddar cheese soup |
10 | Oz. | Frozen chopped spinach, thawed |
Preheat the oven to 350°. Grease a 9" x 5" x 3" loaf pan. Drain spinach well and squeeze it dry.
Mix all ingredients except spinach until well blended. Beat 1 minute. Stir in spinach and stir until well mixed. Pour into a prepared pan and bake until done (about 55 to 65 minutes). Cool 20 minutes in the pan - then remove.
