Morning Bread (Morgon Mackor)
A Swedish Recipe
From the Kitchen of: Lill in Sweden
This is my favourite bread which I always keep in my freezer and it
is very easy to make.
BUT I did not try it out with American or Canadian flour. You do
that....
1 | pint | Cold Water |
1 | oz. | Yeast |
2 | tsp. | Oil |
1/2 | tsp. | Salt |
1 | quart | Wheat Flour |
Stir the yeast into the water and then mix it all and stir well to a
loose (or slack?)
dough. Put in the fridge for at least 6 hours.
Put it on the well floured baking board. Be careful when doing this
to keep it as
fermented as possible. Then just cut it into oblong pieces with a
floured sharp
knife (The dough might be sticky but that is ok!)
Leave it on the baking plates for 1 hour.
Put in the oven for 11-12 minutes at 525F.
