Filling | ||

2 | Tbsp. | Maple-flavored syrup |
2 | Tbsp. | Margarine or butter, softened |
1/2 | Tsp. | Ground cinnamon |
1/4 | Cup | Chopped nuts |
Preheat oven to 350°. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.
Maple Icing | ||

1 | Cup | Powdered sugar |
1/2 | Tsp. | Maple extract |
1 | Tbsp. | Milk |
Make this thin enough to drizzle | ||
Use the above ingredients, except use 3 1/2 cups Gold Medal Better for Bread flour and 1 1/2 teaspoons Bread Machine yeast. Place all ingredients EXCEPT filling and maple icing in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select dough/manual cycle. DO NO USE delay cycles. Remove dough from pan. Continue as directed above for shaping, rising and baking.
