The double layers of macadamia nut streusel make these muffins extra special.

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease muffin tin. In a small bowl, mix sour cream and baking soda; st aside. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Mix well. Add mashed bananas and sour cream mixture until well combined. Add flour and baking powder. Stir until just incorporated.
In a small bowl mix melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and macadamia nuts. Fill pre-greased muffin tins with batter slightly less than halfway; sprinkle with streusel mixture. Bake until a toothpick inserted in center of muffin comes out clean about 25 minutes.
