Cheddar Nut Bread

Good with fruit salad, shrimp or chicken
1 | | Slightly beaten egg |
1 | C | Evaporated milk |
1/2 | C | Water |
1/4 | tsp | Salt |
3 3/4 | C | Buttermilk baking mix |
1 1/2 | C | Sharp grated cheddar cheese |
1/2 | C | Chopped nuts |
- Combine egg, milk, water, salt, baking mix and nuts. Mix vigorously
30 seconds. Be sure it's blended.
- Butter loaf pan, pour in batter.
- Bake 350 degrees 55 to 60 minutes. Cool.
- Serve warm or cold.
