Spiced Mocha
From the Kitchen of:
Sandy
1/2 cup whipping cream
1 tbsp instant coffee granules
3 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
Dash of ground cloves
1/4 cup plus 2 tbsp chocolate syrup, divided
Hot coffee
6 cinnamon sticks (optional)
Combine first 6 ingredients; chill several hours.
Beat at high speed until soft peaks form.
Spoon 1 tbsp chocolate syrup into each of 6 coffee mugs.
Fill with hot coffee, stirring well.
Top each with a generous spoonful of spiced whipped cream.
Serve with cinnamon sticks, if desired.
Makes 6 servings.
