Raspberry Lemonade
From the Kitchen of: Sandy
2 quarts water |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
1/2 pint raspberries |
juice of 10 lemons |
1 lemon, thinly sliced |

- In heavy, nonreactive pan, combine the water, sugar, and raspberries.
- Place over medium heat and bring to a boil.
- Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and allow to cool to room temperature
- Strain the raspberry syrup mixture into a pitcher.
- Add lemon juice and lemon slices, and chill.
Makes aobut 2 quarts.
