Rose Leaf Punch

1 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups Curacao or other orange flavored liqueur
1 cup brandy
ice molds
3 (25.4oz) bottles champagne, chilled
American Beauty Rose petals (optional)
Combine water and sugar in small pan.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves.
Remove from heat and chill.
Pour sugar water, Curacao, and brandy over individual ice molds in a punch bowl.
Gradually add champagne just before serving.
Garnish base of punch bowl with rose petals, if desired.
Yield: about 1 gallon.
Note: Rose buds may be frozen in individual molds to float in punch.
