Halloween Punches and Fun Effects
From the Kitchen of: Paz
Source: Kathy/MA from Recipe Chat
PUNCH #1
- Take a large container of orange juice (with pulp is best, but it's
ok if no pulp).
- Add some pop for fizz. Add a few drops of blue food coloring and
the punch will have a murky greenish colour.
- Try adding some other kinds of fruit juices for
flavour....apple...grape...cranberry...they all taste great.
PUNCH #2
- Start with green (lime) Kool-Aid, add some pop for fizz, add other
kinds of Kool-Aid or some fruit juice and again... murky greenish brown
punch that tastes great!
FUN EFFECTS
For a fun effect... take a latex glove, fill with water or with red
Kool-Aid or juice. Tie the end of the glove and freeze until solid.
Once frozen solid, peel the glove off the ice "hand" and place the
"hand" into the punchbowl... it'll keep it cool and look "gross" too.
Especially if it's a bloody red hand melting....
Another fun effect... fill an ice cube tray halfway with water, allow
to freeze solid, place either small clean plastic spiders in each cube
or candy bugs and fill the tray with water. Freeze solid... add them to
the punch.
