Fresh Plum Lemonade

small plums, halved and pitted (about 1 lb.)

cup sugar

bottle (7 1/2oz) frozen lemon juice, thawed
In blender, combine plums, sugar and 2 cups water; puree until smooth. Pour through fine strainer into pitcher, pressing with rubber spatula to extract as much liquid as possible.
Stir in lemon juice and 4 cups cold water.
Serve over ice.
