Hot Butter Rum

l cup butter
l cup packed brown sugar
l cup powdered sugar
l tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
l pint vanilla ice cram softened
dark rum
boiling water
Cream butter, sugar, and spices until light and fluffy.
Blend in ice cream. Turn into freezer containers and freeze.
To serve: spoon 2 or 3 tbsps. batter (ice cream mixture) into a coffee mug.
Add 3 tbsp. rum and 1/2 cup boiling water. Stir well.
It will keep in the freezer for several weeks.
This recipe is very rich! But enjoy!!!
