French Chocolate 2
From the Kitchen of:
Sandy
2 1/2 sq. bitter chocolate
1 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
salt to taste
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup whipping cream, whipped
4 cups milk, beaten
Cook chocolate with water until thick, stirring to prevent sticking.
Add sugar and salt.
Bring to a boil; remove from heat.
Cool, add vanilla.
Fold in whipped cream.
Makes about 2 1/2 cups.
Place a generous spoonful in serving cup.
Add hot milk to fill cup.
Stir until mixed.
Note:
Mix can be made ahead of time and stored in refrigerator.
