Apricot Brandy

This recipe has been in my family for ages! I would make it and leave it in the
basement to ripen!
Enough apricots to fill a gallon jar |
4 cups sugar |
1/5 of vodka or gin |

- Wash and prick apricots with fork and place in gallon jar.
- Add sugar and fill with vodka.
- Let stand for at least 3 months in a dark place.
- When time it up, draw liquid through sieve - to capture the seeds and pulp.
- Enjoy! Makes enough for a long winter!!
