You can substitute small cooked shrimp, surimi (artificial crabmeat), or smoked salmon or trout for the crabmeat in this delicious recipe.
8-oz. | pkg. | low fat cream cheese, softened 6-oz. can crabmeat, drained and picked over |
1/4 | cup | light mayonnaise |
2 | Tbsp. | finely chopped pecans |
1 | Tbsp. | prepared horseradish (I use the creamy style) |
Combine all ingredients and mix well. Chill several hours to blend flavors.
Yield: 1-1/2 cups or 24 servings
Serve on small crackers, such as Ritz or Wheat Thins
