Crab Mold
From the Kitchen of: Boomer
I've served this several times and always get asked for the recipe.
I sometimes add a dash or two of cayenne and a drop or two of red
food coloring to "pinken" the color.
5 | | green onions, chopped |
1½ | C | Finely chopped celery |
10 | oz | Fresh or canned crab meat |
1 | can | Cream of mushrrom soup or cream of celery |
8 | oz | Cream cheese |
2 | tbsp | Unflavored gelatin |
2 | tbsp | Warm water |
- Mix gelatin with warm water and set aside;
- Heat soup and cream cheese together. Add gelatin mixture and remaining ingredients. Let set overnight in mold
(or make early in the morning for use that evening) Garnish with parsley if desired.
- Serve with crackers.
